I preordered this some time back.

As far as I am concerned the GOW titles are the best single player games that have been released on the PS platform, I have played and completed all of them. Remasters and HD versions included.

For me its THE reason to own a PS console.

I am a peasant PS4 owner though, no pro here, so it will be interesting to see if the 1080p suffers at all with frame rate issues. I get a feeling that like the other GOW titles this pushes the hardware to its max.

Agreed GOW is an awesome series but surely TLoU ranks higher now?

I'm not a console gamer but I can appreciate what probably is the best visuals to date in a game, amazing. One envious PC gamer here.

Going to order that book myself :)

Is there actually a difference in graphics settings between the base and pro models of the ps4 ? Or is it just the resolution and hdr ?

I'm jealous it's not on PC and I've got a ps4. 30fps is plain horrible if you're used to high frame rates and gsync/freesync. It's killed my console :(

    30fps in 2018. Disappointing.

The pro unlocks it to 60 but by no means is it a lock :( I'd sooner a solid 30 than a fluctuating rate between the 2.

He wrote American God's which I've read recently. Really good. Might have to get Norse Mythology now!

I noticed that once I read inside the cover it lists his past works! I'll check that out if I get on with this :)

This is looking like a good single player experience. It will be my first God of War. It's actually the first game I've decided to buy the collectors edition. Can't wait to see how good it looks on a pro with 4k and HDR.

I'm glad this is designed around the base PS4. It's looking like yet another spectacular PS4 exclusive.

30 fps is the norm for consoles and when you have visuals at this high standard you can't expect much more. It's fine as long as frame times are good which they are.

If the game is 30fps from the start then I don't think you can notice , it's only when it drops in game that you notice imo

Mario kart for instance on the switch, 1-2 player split screen is 60 fps but as soon as you go to 4 players on the same screen it drops and is noticeable. But if I haven't played for a while and load it up straight into 4 player it just feels normal to me.
