I'm almost tempted to buy Planescape again. Does anyone know if this is the version with all the fan patches that came out or would I have to add them later?

Try http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/mob_rule its the next installment, I found it more fun to play, and easier controls. Shame it has no multiplayer though and no map editor/random maps.

Temple of Elemental Evil bought. First impressions, very similar style to Baldurs Gate, but deeper and more complex if that's possible.

Might have to get Constructor and Mob Rule, loved the demos many years ago but never managed to get them!

. I played it during my teens, I was awful at it but a great game.

It's a lot tighter in scope, doesn't roam all over the continent, the story is a lot more focused. The battles are fantastic though, a single spell can completely alter the outcome.

Make sure to fan patch it though, it's completely bug ridden otherwise (not game breakers, but a lot of the spells don't do the right effect, damage etc) :

Might have to pick up stronghold I loved that game and have been playing the mmo.
