Between me and Mrs Dimple we've got 4 devices : SGS1, SGS3, Nexus 7 and ASUS TF101 and I'm thinking about getting an unlocked Mi-Fi for when we go on weekend breaks or abroad.
Now obviously in this country I can buy a PAYG sim for a month but could I do the same abroad?
For instance I'm going to Malta in August so when I get there could I buy a PAYG sim and put it in my Mi-Fi?

No reason why you couldn't, but as always be aware of the usual: different frequencies might be in use in different countries and networks, tethering might be prohibited on phone SIMs so you may need to get a mobile broadband SIM, etc. Also worth checking coverage for different networks depending on where you are going.

Completely depends where you are going, some will have similar PAYG services to the UK, some will require a permanent address before giving you a SIM. Probably best to ask on somewhere like a British ex-pat forum for the country you are visiting.

Seems I just walk in one of their shops and get a 10 Euro mobile data card for 3 gig - http://www.go.com.mt/gomobile/
