Going to get wheels refurbed - wondering about colour?

Keep em standard. I have the same wheels and whilst they're nothing special they're not offensive and suit the car well enough.
It's a bit weird that I currently dislike my car and avoid driving it yet I see a picture of another mk4 and think ooh I'd like the look of that (yet I already own one!). Is this just me or are other mk4 golf owners feeling the same way?

Its........it's an old golf

I really dont know why you're bothering at all to be honest - you're going to spend a few hundred quid doing this, I just cant see why its worth it

AFK - it's a standard car, that isn't a BMW, you're not going to get favourable opinions on this board :P

If you want to "tidy" the car up, then I'd go with standard silver, and the new finish will be nice and shiny and will make the car look tidier.

Yep, I have different wheels on mine now and it's not that bad looking a car but I don't appreciate it much. I look at others and think cool, looks well.. lol never seem to appreciate my own car despite spending plenty on it.

As for the wheels, could consider some BBS montreal II's which was 16" and standard fit on most GTI Golfs 2000 onwards? Not that expensive, cheaper than having wheels refurbed probably for a good set with ok tyres.
