Golf clubs

A lad at work is selling some clubs as he no longer plays. I asked him to write down exactly what they are as i'm gonna start playing again soon.

Nike Pro-Combo golf clubs (3 iron to pitching wedge with speed step regular shafts) £160
Ben sayers M2 driver (regular shaft) £30
Ben sayers M2 5 wood (regular shaft) £25
Nike sand wedge 50° £30
Wilson trouble wedge 64° £10
Wilson putter £10
Hippo golf trolley £10
RAM 14 way divider bag (red) £20
Nike size 9 golf shoes (only worn 2/3 times), he said these were £90 new but he'll throw them in for nothing.

So that adds up to £295.

He said I can have the lot for £180. Any good :confused:

Depending on the condition of the clubs I'd say that's a pretty good deal. It might be worth seeing if he'll let you try a round with the irons before you buy to see if they suit your level of play.

Still not sure.... have to let him know by the end of the week or they're going on ebay.

Tim, if you are new to the game, steer clear of the pro combos. The lower irons are almost like blades, which beginners will struggle with.
