I've been learning Devendra Banhart, Elliott Smith, and Bright Eyes, but would like some more to learn. They have to be fairly easy! Finger-picking would be awesome, but I don't mind chords either.

I don't have enough acoustic guitar music on my computer :(

Cheers

Kansas - Dust in the wind

i was shown how to play this in an hour on sunday night to play in an acoustic set at my uni.
unfortunately never having heard the song before at the time meant i didnt get it sounding right so didnt play..

but ive now got the song and the music and its a wonderful song to play!

Ronan Keating - When you say nothing at all.

you could just go to a quaint parisian music shop. they might have something there. sublime :p

Please don't bring that trash in here.

(thanks anyways arc_of_time_ but that's really not what I'm after)

And Dev, you're useless when it comes to music anyways, get out.

tbh if you can hold some chords together and do a bit of finger plucking, you can play pretty much anything. With time.
One song i noticed when learning to play that was surprisingly easy was Metallica - Nothing Else Matters.

Maybe I should have clarified better. When I listed "Devendra Banhart, Elliott Smith, and Bright Eyes", I didn't do that for no reason. I'd like similar sort of stuff to that. Folk, singer-songwriter, indie etc. Certainly not Metallica :p Thanks anyways.

Thinking of Carzy, I think you would like to learn the below as it is quite easy. :)

Sufjan Stevens - Casimir Pulsaki Day

ooo Ooo and

Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots

You have to learn F but you have to learn it eventually anyway. :D

A fantastic one to try and learn is Acoustic Alchemy - Ballad for Kay. If you can learn both parts it should boost your skills :)

From there, its on to learning guitar arrangements of a Tocatta :D

Damien Rice, a good one for picking i "i remember" simple but nice.
"Hallelujah" Jeff Buckley is a nice one to learn
Goo Goo Dolls
City and Colour (look under dallas green for tabs) lovely acoustic music :)
Death Cab for Cutie - I just learnt "I will follow you into the dark" thats a nice song.
Jack Johnson
Life House
Ocean Colour Scene
Radio Head

Just a few artists I pulled outta my collection!

Motorcycle Driveby by Third Eye Blind is simple but tuneful. It does descend into a bit of a rock-fest halfway through but you can ignore that and just continue to play it acoustically.
