Good card for PCBank 27" Monitor

You aren't allowed to hotlink images.

Is that the results with 4*MSAA applied? If so it's kind of pointless as it really isn't needed at that resolution. And that's coming from someone who chases maximum settings :p

My Anand link above shows what real world performance is likely to be.

But but, that's not TRUE ULTRA settings - your using ULTRA with custom :p

If I'm going to drop £400+ on the latest greatest next gen graphics card it damn well should be capable of max settings!

I agree when gaming at 1080p. But the need for AA is decreased or removed at the resolution of 2560*1400 or above. Unless of course you've compared no MSAA, 2x and 4x at that resolution in an actual game situation rather than screenshots and came to the conclusion still that maximum settings is the only way to go?

Ive got a 27" PCBANK Korean job and I got a 7850 OC'ed running at 1200/5500. To be honest I don't play BF3 or the like but I do play Skyrim a LOT and it's gorgeous at 2560*1440 and plays very well on pretty high detail (Just running around the islands north of Dawnstar is awesome for the views). Of course you can't max everything on every game but I wouldn't get too hung up on BF3 benchmarks! (Unless of course you play a lot of BF3 :) ) Oh and bear in mind I have a fairly pants CPU (about to upgrade shortly) in a Athlon II X4 640 in terms of modern CPUs so any sandy/ivy CPU will be noticeably better.
