Good cost effective Mobo

Hi there,

Im looking at parts for a new computer, and Im completely baffled by the amounts of motherboard brands and models available!

I dont really know what the best type is to get, (P35? P43? P45?).

Im also on a budget, definitely nothing more than £100, and less than £70 would be preferred.

The Mobo would be fitting an E8500 Intel Dual Core CPU, 800MHz RAM, and I dont intend to have an video cards in Sli configuration.

Any advice appreciated.

Forgot to mention, video card will be a 4850, and I dont intend to overclock. Just after something basic, but stable and reasonable quality.

Thanks Paul, but I am wondering, would the Asus P5QL-E be better value in my circumstances? Or is that not considered a good motherboard?
