good games from 2001-2006

Or there abouts. During this time I was going through my ps2 phase (our PC had an fx5200, come on...) So I missed a lot of good games. So far I've got:

MoH: AA
HL2
Mafia
No One Lives for Ever 2

I suppose I'm looking for games that are not as well known (such as No One Lives Forever) which will be a pleasant surprise for me as I already knew MoH:AA was good!

What do you recommend?

Thanks for the suggestions. I played GTA 3 VA and SA on the PS2 and completed COD2 on the 360. XIII looks interesting!

Freelancer looks good, how does it compare to Freespace 2 which I already have buried in GOG somewhere

The 2001 and 2006 limits are not absolute!

Well today I picked up:

Black and White 2
BF 1942
BF2
Project IGI
Just Cause (not sure why but it was 10p)

it will be interesting to see how the Nvidia 6800 holds up with some of the later games!

I already have quite a few like Mafia, Company of Heros, C&C Generals, Chronicles of Riddick (although it seems to try to melt every graphics card I've played it on, regardless of how good the card is), Stronghold 2...

I'm also on the look out now for Black Hawk Down, Fable and FEAR.
