good god...a $14k rig

there are people with lots of money and it's not kind to have a go at them. I'd love to own a system like this and i aim to one day. I'm working my way up the job chain in life so that i can just get something current like this and change it every 6 months for a new 14k system. Basically my aim in life so good on the builder of this system I wish i was you! The haters are jealous, it always happens with over the top hardware, its about knowing you've got the best and who cares what the public say.
 
Sorry I was being a bit harsh on the monitor thing. But would love to see tripple monitor gaming on large size monitors, that would make use of the power and be an amazing video to watch.

I never said I would have that, just that potentially you could outdo it in a few months. Buying the absolutely top of the line is almost always a bad idea when it comes to PCs.

Not in the least bit jealous, just have other hobbies to waste my money on (and trust me, I waste plenty of it myself)
 
Watched the video on Bit-Tech before i saw this thread. There was one thing that caught my attention, he was putting his rig up for auction straight away, this isnt for him, this is for someone who wants a centre piece and to wow his friends. Nice rig, nice thinking on the build. Would i build one like that if i had the money...yes. Why, because like everyone else i like to show off. Would i buy one off a site no!!
 
I honestly cannot imagine how much heat this thing would give off, I have 2 GTX 480's and its bad enough, but 4, no thank you!

Only 1 300GB hard drive for storage is a little strange too, especially if he considers himself a "Gamer"
 
Converting it to UK pounds and adding VAT makes it £10401. Plus adding UK rip off prices it would be around £11000-12000 over here. What a complete joke the UK is with pc prices. Without VAT and rip off prices it would cost around £8800.
