ive been using medusa 5.1`s (non usb) for years now, this is my third pair and frankly im tired of the crappy build quality despite the good sound they give. They always break in exactly the same place!!! on the arm by the join to the speaker. I want 5.1 and i would really like a microphone on them. good bass sounds are important to me also as i like it to have a good kick.

so, any suggestions???

You using them for gaming?

What soundcard do you have?

If you have a good soundcard, get a pair of Sennheiser HD555's. Non 5-1, but if you're using them for gaming you wont get better for the money. Just buy a cheapy desk-mic to compliment them.

im using the on board sound on a DFI lanparty board, probably the only good onboard card ever made...
