My cousin and I have been meaning to go to the FoS for the last 5 years (at least), but never got round to it. But I just booked my ticket for this year. The lineup looks awesome, and I can't wait :D

Anyone else from here going?
 
When is it? What sort of events are there? What sort of cars do you see?

Heard it mentioned a lot, but don't really know much about it :o

My poor selection of photos from last year - didn't get to bed from work till 2, had a 4 hour drive at 7 oclock to get there and a stunning migrane :(

So I couldn't really be arsed, but there ya go. It was free :D

It's a great show :) I enjoyed it, lots of noise, friendly people, special cars and lotsa track action.

I should be there. I have allways wanted to go but never got around to it, hopefully this year I will be able to go :)
 
I'll be there for all three days as usual. Looks to be a cracking line up this year - the 4 pre war Auto Unions look to be the highlights.
 
I might go again this year :) There don't seem to be any free tickets this time though!

I've been 3 times now, it's always really good, but a long way to go!
 
I haven't been for 3/4 years and was quite shocked to see the ticket prices!! I refuse to pay £40/45 for a day out! It only used to be £25 or so which could be justified.

It is a great day out though, as long as the weather holds out!

Goodwood is just brilliant. My favorite Motor related day out of the year. Going on the Friday for the 3rd year running and have Grandstand tickets this time :)

I really don't see the point in grandstand tickets. You'll want to spend most of the time just walking around, and it's easy enough to get a view of the track :)

I've never been back to goodwood since i had VIP tickets, i just dont think the experience would be the same :(

I found this last year, as long as you have some form of plan of what you want to see, and you get there a few minutes before it starts its easy to get somewhere with a good view of the track, I found most of the people wanting to view an event got there a few minutes after it started. I'm going on the friday this year as it wont be as busy as the other days, which is another reason why I'm not getting a grandstand ticket.
 
We decided to get some grandstad tickets so we wouldn't have to peer over everyones shoulders all the time. Fair enough you can get a good spot if you know the right places and the exact times you want to see your car, but usually its 4-5 people deep along the fences, which makes for rather difficult picture taking.

I am sure we will spend most of the day wondering around, but it will be nice to have a seat to return to when we want a rest. Plus more importantly, it's somewhere to leave the women to chat about shopping!!
 
Ive been nearly every year for ages, and it has gotten progressively better, but I feel it has reached a point where I have seen many cars over and over again. Highlights for me are the old lemans cars, which they have every year. Supercard are pretty cool too. Only reason to make me go this year is to see the Veyron do the hillclimb. Cant be bothered to go this year though.
