Went to this today with a mate, and met up with a fellow photographer from TalkPhotography. Great day despite of the rather dismal weather, and lack of action! My first time panning, so unfortunately i have a lot of blurred photos, these are all i've processed so far...

Some hot metal on show there !!

I'm really liking the stationary car images – the creative angles and depth of field.
What lens/es did you use?

For some reason i forgot to photograph, the Zonda F, CLK AMG DTM and the Porsche Techart 997, im kicking myself for that.

Im comfortable photographing cars while stationary, its something i've done many times before, today was the first time i've photographed some track stuff, so its not at the standard i would have liked :p I was concentrating so much on settings, and panning correctly i forgot the whole composition side of things.

Equipment used was a D80, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 and a Nikon 50mm f/1.8

Good panning technique and nice shots.

Cool cars. What is the black one with the spoiler an old Lambo?

PS: Except that Clio, it just looks wrong among the other cars :)
