Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 Launched - back to back driving

I fitted 4 new AS2's in November to my 330ci and they totally transformed the car. The grip and confidence they give you is excellent. No complaints here.

What tyres did they replace?

Well, ordered 2 today.

Oddly the best price was the first price offered by my local HiQ. They have even undercut Camskill!

Going to be VERY interesting as to how you rate these, looking forward to the CS comparison.

They replaced 2 ps2's on the front and some Avons z somethings on the rear, so probably why I seen such a big difference, but still very good tyres in the months they have been fitted and plenty of tread left. To me the side wall stiffness feels quite firm and I am getting good feedback through the steering wheel. Road noise is also quite good compared to the previous tyres.

What size was that Fox?

I found camskill and tyreshopper to be cheaper in 225/40/18.

Just checked mine and I'll be ok for a few months yet, my front left is the lowest, I blame those roundabouts.

Depending on whether you're having 2 or 4 delivered, lovetyres is cheaper than even camskill:

I've driven on a lot of tyres the past 12 months, and they're still my favourite. If you don't like them Fox I'm going to be disappointed ;)

397 the pair with a free 10 quid fuel voucher.

Sounds like a cracking deal. Will keep that in mind when I'm due some fresh rubber.

Having said that with the rise in petrol it will probably cost us £10 to get to the nearest HiQ even though it's just down the road...

Really, I've found I've had to pump my tyres up a few more PSI as I found them squidgy. Tyre noise, not too sure on as the PS3s got pretty noise when they were down to 2-3mm.

Done!
