How would you get to London from New York? I would hope that most people would either fly or go by cruise liner.
NOT if you take directions from Google Maps.
Go to maps.google.com -> choose Get Directions. Enter New York as your start point and London as your destination.
You may notice something slightly strange when start to look at the steps to take:
"Drive: 3,938mi (About 29 days 10 hours)"
But the best bit is when you hit step 24:
"Swim Across the Atlantic Ocean (3,462 mi)"
Now, I know that people in the googleplex are supposed to be relaxed but somebody really should have told that reclusive web developer that not many people like to swim in freezing cold waters and for such distances.
I'm not kidding. Check it out.
