I noticed this yesterday and it's on Digg this morning so I assume it's a fairly new feature.
Go to Google Maps and get directions from one place to another.
Previously if you wanted to add in via's you had to click the 'Add Destination'
Now it lets you drag the map to where you want to go via and recalculates the route as you do it, pretty cool
