I have the eufy one and I'm sick of it not working properly for me.

It's honestly got worse över time.
I've reset it spent hours trying to get it to be reliable.

It's Google home integration is weak at best.

I'm very heavily invested in Google now and I'm wondering is there anything better than the nest doorbell or is that also useless?

I'm not happy there is a sub fee but honestly as long as it's reliable I'll deal with it?

We have the Nest battery doorbell, along with some Google cameras and the heating thermostat.

The first couple of weeks was a bit of a shock as the battery would only last a few days, but we do have quite a bit of dog walkers, cars, buses etc pass the front door, and I think the doorbell was working in overdrive. I changed a few settings and set up a boundary and now the doorbell has settled down it lasts over a month and does a great job of notifying me of people walking up the drive and the obvious doorbell video while we are out, having conversations with the post lady and Amazon people is very handy. And it's nicely integrated with the other Google stuff we have, so in one app.

Whats wrong with your Eufy? Mines been working perfectly

Honestly if I knew I'd be content.
It's not registering movement in lower light conditions. It used to. Faulty infrared?
I have a lot of left at door deliverys and it's not registering the van or the person dropping the package.
Yours integrated with Google stuff?
It takes upto 15 seconds to stream live camera to a home hub. This might be partly to my home network being 5G mobile powered...
It can't use the Google homes as a doorbell.
So many things that p me off :p

Are you using standard detector or by adjusting the field manually? I found streaming sometimes to be slow but thats improved since i changed my mesh system.

I've used everything it offers.
Area with alll detection 9n
Human only in a zone
No zones all types all combos.

I have a tp link mesh system and there's a node 2m away through a wooden wall.
It's about 10m to the main router. Distance shouldn't be an issue.

Something must be faulty with the actual bell unit.

I've reached out to eufy but I've had very little joy and I'm sure this is probably also out of warranty.

The homebase unit lost all it's lighting.
Many people support that fault.
I've lost all confidence in them tbh.
Real shame because I was so happy back when I got it.

I have 2c pro Cameras they are pretty ok except 1 will simply not stream to any cast device. It's flawless in the app but no streaming. Not as important as doorbell for my needs but another nail in my relationship with eufy :p

I was thinking of getting some eufy things, door bell and a couple of cames. Not that good then? I have Google, no Alexa.
They've just released a revamped product line. Which could be extremely good but it's not cheap.
It puts it in the same bracket as nearly all its competitors.
If they have fixed Google integration it might still be one of the best.
