It's a good phone. If you're an absolute tech nerd no it won't cut the mustard, for everyone else it's a solid phone. Buy from Google and certain other places and you have 2 to 4 week return window to test for yourself.Hey all, looking to upgrade from my 14 Pro Max to a Pixel 10 Pro XL. I see a lot of the reviews and comments online seem to be slating it for performance and battery life, how true is this? I don't game on my phone so i don't care about bleeding edge perf but freezes/hitches/lag really grinds my gears when im just trying to do daily things (big reason im leaving iphone is because how poor ios 26 has become for this stuff). My main thing is battery life, i wouldn't want a downgrade from my 14 pro max when that was new.
My other option is to wait for S26 Ultra or get the S25 Ultra now, but i do like the idea of Googles own take on Android.
I haven't had the phone for too long (10 Pro non XL version, only a few weeks) but I've seen a lot of owners mentioning the December update fixed a lot of the performance bugs, and I haven't noticed any regression from the 9 series in terms of gaming as well.Hey all, looking to upgrade from my 14 Pro Max to a Pixel 10 Pro XL. The trifold to me is the only real fold that's any good. It gives such a huge screen and the size allows for videos to make the most of it. Bi fold if you play a video half the screen is black and wasted.I'm going to check out some reviews of the Fold; how are people here generally finding it?
It's sure expensive, though I would like a larger screen on a phone - that's one of my main preferences.
Bought the 9 Pro fold. The novelty lasted all of 5 mins. Kept it for a couple months and traded it in for a non fold.I'm going to check out some reviews of the Fold; how are people here generally finding it?

Had the 9 Fold previously, it really depends what you plan to do on the large screen. I mainly used it for work (remote desktop, spreadsheets, etc.) and book reading, the inner screen did make it easier. But every other use the outer "normal" screen was fine. I'm not sure how well the 10 fold does well durability wise either, my 9 lasted around a year and 3 months before it developed battery issues, luckily Google did acknowledge it as a common problem and replaced it straight away, but I went back to the regular slab style phone.I'm going to check out some reviews of the Fold; how are people here generally finding it?

Fold 10 Pro here - been fine with Android Auto to a Corolla on wireless and wired (overheats a bit on wireless using car's Qi pad). Got a Watch 4 connected at the same time and not had any issues.Anyone had any Bluetooth issues with the Fold 10?
I had the Pro Fold 9 and while it was near perfect for my usage, the damn thing refused to connect to Android Auto in my car wirelessly while ever I was connected to another device, eg my watch.
So it had to go.

Got a standard slab 10 Pro and that's behaved OK, including in a couple of hire cars in Canada late last year (didn't have the Fold at the time).
