Possibly but I don't know if that bothers me day-to-day. I'm essentially comparing it to pixel 5 and the main reasons I want to upgrade are:
Faster storage
Faster CPU
Better/more versatile camera(especially video)
If it ticks those boxes then I'm happy.
Has the size of the base model been leaked? Does it have 60hz refresh rate?
There was an article that Target in US is doing $99 off Pixel buds but could just be their specific offer but certainly make more sense to bundle their own stuff this time round.
Google talked about performance in their keynote. They said “We won’t win any benchmarks”![]()
Looks like it's only 3 years of OS updates: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/4457705?p=pixel_android_updates&visit_id=637702597609619849-18118364&rd=1#zippy=,pixel-phones,pixel-pixel-pro-phones
Meaning the last OS the phones should get is Android 15. This matches Samsung except for the extra security year. Was hoping Google would squeeze in an extra OS update now that they're using their own chip.
Thanks. That's okay I guess. Plus 5 years security.
They need to up it next year to 4 years. No reason why they can't now they have their own chips.
A few pages back 4 years was touted on pixel 6. Can't have it all I guess.
Does anyone know a shop that's got a live demo of these? I looked in EE earlier today but they only had a shell of the pixel 6.
Something fishy there as LDAC is royalty free.
