Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9a/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

I’m hoping for some kind of Black Friday deal from Google on the pixel 9a.

My daughter had a 6a that was affected by the battery issue so I have a £150 discount code to use.

She’s chugging along with an old Nokia Android phone I had kicking around in a drawer.

Damn it, i could have saved some money, although i couldnt really wait, i had to buy it beginning of oct, as my old pixel 4xl died, i wouldnt have been able to have more than 2-3 days without a functioning new phone . I couldnt find any better prices than £313 beginning of oct

Same, but for my mother's 6a. That's why I'm a little annoyed by the GiffGaff £249. We chose to get the Google Voucher, which can only be used on a Pixel phone and is non-transferable. I doubt Google BF will beat £249, but I feel like if I buy the GiffGaff then I'm wasting the voucher  Clearly we should have taken the £100 cash.

Seriously hoping the next update fixes battery performance on the 9 XL - struggling to get much more than 5hr SoT. Anyone else finding it poor since last few updates?

Yeah mine is noticeably worse - I use the battery saver setting so it only charges to 80% anyway but it's quite quickly down to 60% with a bit of light use. It rallies once it hits 45-50% but it's uncommon to get 2 days light-to-moderate use out of it like I used to. It's actually in for repair at the moment after the screen started failing, I'm hoping it comes back with a new battery as well :D

Slightly disappointed with Google`s deals.

On the bright side, I discovered last night that my wife has a student account with Totem.

Ordered the Pixel 9a for my daughter for £229.
Happy with that. :D

For that money it's a no brainer. What they're charging for the top models is beyond crazy.

The first protector I tried on my XL was rubbish and two of them broke fairly quickly.
I switched to a 'WSKEN' protector from Amazon a few months ago and I'm still using the first one out of the pack of 2.
I also like that these ones don't have a cut out for the front camera.

Anyone use a magnet compatible case for their pixel? Are they any good and what are the recommendations?

Don't really want to shell out for a pixel 10 so looking at magnet cases instead
