We have had a family subscription for a while now, which has been great, especially as my 6yo daughter has a really varied taste in music. We have 2 Home hubs and 2 minis scattered around the house, so it works really well. Recently however, we have noticed songs disappearing from playlists, and Google refusing to play certain songs. I am aware of the transition over to YouTube Music, which my subscription seems valid for also.
Any one else having similar issues?
One example, is the album Save Rock & Roll by Fall Out Boy. Its one of my daughters favourites, but its completely disappeared from Google Play Music. I can find it via Chrome on the pc app, but the songs cannot be played and are skipped.
It plays in Youtube music fine.

Anyone else noticing similar or is it possibly an issue my end?

Ah my bad could find the song but not the album. The joys of relying on streaming eh? Never know when things are going to dissapear!

Looks like the licence has expired on that album... not even available to buy either, never mind stream!

EDIT: available to stream and buy on Apple Music still.

And this is the one main reason why I picked Google play music over the others many many years ago. You can upload your own music. Admittedly I haven't had to in years so it may have gone, but you could upload any song you anted and it'd be available to all your devices. The only thing you couldn't do was say "OK Google play x song" as it wouldn't recognise this but it would play it if it's in a playlist I believe.

Worth just downloading the song from YouTube to mp3 and then uploading it yourself if you miss it.
