Nope mines fine, better scan your pcs/network in case you have a virus/spyware hiding there.

This happend to me before but I can't remember for sure what sorted it.

I think it was a spyware/virus thing. Go scan mate.

on a work computer so using mcafee virusScan and behind a hardware firewall. Could it be another computer on the network, or maybe a large amount of people searching for the same thing

how does having a static ip help? seriously go talk to your local it admins, google never lies.

What it is, is someone with a similar IP range to yours (e.g. x.x.x.y) has abused the system so they ban x.x.x.*

It'll be lifted soon, until then keep entering what it asks from you and don't close IE/Firefox/Opera/etc...

I've had it before. I just performed the search again, and got the results I had intended for Google to produce in the first place.
