Yes heard of whey but I'd rather just have a healthy enough diet than use supplements for everything.

If anyone could maybe give me an example day (without supplements). it's just if I took there one it wouldn't be enough as I wouldn't have the supplements in place.

£20 for 20 servings isn't exactly cheap is it?

Depnding on the quantities of the ingredients mentioned that could give you one hell of a kick though! 50g servings makes me think it will be 90%+ sugars though, I'd avoid it.

Especially as only 3g of that is creatine! It does say it contains "Caffeine, Guarana", the later would probably help with that 'enrage' feeling i'm guessing, but would not help much for after the workout!

I wouldn't take it PWO, though I wouldn't take it at all lol :)

Hardly ideal for people who train in the evenings either, guarana lasts for hours. Again depending on dosages if you workout at 9pm and took some of that you wouldn't be sleeping until 3am at the earliest!

I train mornings/afternoons. It was just reccommended to me, It's not for weight training really it's for giving you a lot more energy to basically run more on the treadmill or longer period of times on a very hard resistance on cardio.

Then I wouldn't recommend anything containing creatine to be honest as it can help dehydrate you in my experience. This product also contains caffeine and guarana and these also dehydrate you, so even more reason to avoid it.

Caffeine alone is a powerfull stimulant, especially if you don't take loads everyday and get over exposed to it. Drink plenty fluids and this should be enough for your needs :)

Does any one feel that urge to lift on rest days? I have 2 rest days a week and I'm finding it incredibly hard to not stick a few weights on the dumbbells and lift while watching a film. :)

I can lift quite a lot on the deadlift but I tend to go a lot lower than what I can manage due to the fact im paranoid incase I damage my back, even if my posture is perfect.

I beg to differ, a 600lb deadlift is an awesome lift! :)

Amen, doubt i could do much more than 300lbs in fact i think 300 would be a huge challenge! (so tempted to go try against my better judgment!) :)

thats wise considering you're new to it all (relatively) hurt your back, hurt your future!

Plenty of less strenuous back excecises like good mornings and hyperextensions can help build a good solid lower back that will reduce the chances of things like disc slippage.

I'll have to look that up, but would doing the deadlifts on a lower weight all the time also build your lower back over time?

Okay good mornings I can do but from the pic of what I saw on this hyper extensions that bench isn't in the gym at all.

This is just my personal opinion, not saying it's fact. I can't as lot of way more experienced lifters than me do this exercise!

But I think Good Mornings are suicide, just a silly exercise and you're asking for trouble doing them. You can get real strong at these and lift some serious weights.... then POP!!! Bye, bye back!
