What size/weight of camera are people using with these ?

I've weighed my Fuji S1000 at 400g with batteries etc, would that be too big/weighty for the original ?

I don't really want to get the SLR as it seems a bit large for my uses, though that said, if the original can't hold the camera that would be completely useless

Any thoughts ?

Well according to t'interweb the original is meant to only take 325g, so I'd guess you should really be buying the SLR version. What it will really take though, I don't know.

Sorry, should have mentioned, I'm aware of the specs, but how far have people stretched it

I found a review saying 13oz (~380g) was fine, but this wasn't expanded further

I would get the SLR one its not that big. heres a picture with a panny fz28 on.
