Got a new PC - want to use old HDD for OS drive.

Hey guys,

As per title, I have a new PC now, but want to re-use my old HDDs (a storage one for games and a 70GB drive for OS).

I know what to do with the storage drive, but re the 70GB drive I don't have a clue. It's currently got Vista Home Premium 32-bit and music on there. I've copied the music files and my documents over to the storage drive.

Question is, how do I go about re-using the 70GB drive as OS drive? Do I completely wipe it and format or how do I do it?

Install drive then in My Computer should be your new drive right click then format.

Then ya have yo 70GB drive for all that new pron

if its not visible in My Computer, have a look in Disk Management, you will also see further information there.

No no no. I want to use the current HDD with OS on for my new OS, on a new motherboard xD

Well you need to mirror/clone the hard drive!

I'll just format it when installing new windows xD
