Hi,
I've purchased a B grade Gigabyte Aorus RX580 8GB from Overclockers at the end of July. It was a good price. Other than it running very hot (as most RX580s do) and being quite loud I haven't had significant issues until very recently. I only really play Fortnite nowadays. I will be playing it for say like an hour and then it will just randomly freeze with funny colours on the screen. So for example on Friday I only had one or two freezes and played for a significant amount of time. But yesterday and today it just keeps freezing continuously. I've tried everything, reverting to older drivers, installing the newer drivers etc. Nothing helps. I thought it may be my overclock on CPU and RAM as well so I've reset that to default in BIOS. Didn't help either. This morning when I tried to boot the PC it would not post. The VGA LED on the motherboard was solid RED. That happened yesterday as well. The only way to fix that was to unplug the 6pin connector and plug it back in. But it still freezes very often even in the desktop/browser now. I am very tempted to RMA this to Overclockers because B grade only comes with 90 days warranty and it's got about 30 days left. I've always used to go with Nvidia in the past, so going with AMD in terms of gpu was not a great experience, to say the least. Although the benefit of having freesync was quite good.
