Hello everyone! I'm new on this forum. Like in the title there is my problem. I'm not a pc specialist that's why I'm asking you to explain me that. It is weird for me to see a different name of my CPU in BIOS ,than this one I really got installed. Thank you for every answer you give.

Welcome to the forum! Not seen this issue before myself but I would download CPU Z and install just to check what that is reporting back to you as well.

Could just be a BIOS mistake. Those "upgrade" profiles are just auto-overclocks and are pre-baked. It's a reporting a 3.7GHz base clock, which is correct for an 8700K (the 8350K's is 4GHz), so I imagine the right CPU's in there. Maybe try updating to the latest one and see if that fixes it, assuming you know the model of the motherboard.

Open task manager and see how many 'cpu usage history' boxes open on the performance tab or how many cores it lists (depending on what version of Windows you have) .....

Check threads and CPU report and if that's off take the CPU out and read the markings on it.

If you've brought from other sites there is some history of people buying one CPU and returning another in its place. The quality checks don't catch it and theyre resold...

That's the auto oc profile, if you click on the cpu upgrade it will show you profiles for the i5's and i7, just try them all to see which one is stable for you.
