Got fat over Christmas? Or not?

I lost weight, put myself on a diet and + joined the gym a week before Christmas. Figured if I can do it at Christmas, I can do it any time. And so far so good, feel good about myself already :)
 
Due to a chest infection in early december i've not run for a month. Because of this i've lost weight (i'm assuming due to loss of muscle mass), my legs, which were really solid a month ago, are now starting to gain a bit of a wobble.

Going to attempt a run tomorrow though, here's hoping.
 
85Kg (6'4") before and after.. this is just on the heavier side but in the OK zone.

IBS means you have to watch what and how much you eat at once. In theory it should cause a change in weight. The bugger is no alcohol.. or coffee.. or milk.. etc etc Once the current flare up has subsided I'll start the gym :D

I imagine there isn't a huge difference, but I feel like a right porker as I haven't been going to the gym and I've been trying to gain lean weight since the summer - not overly ideal!
 
I have eaten far too much chocolate and trifle, but I was looking to put on a kilo or two anyway. :D I've spent enough time wandering around the 68KG mark.

Had a 'breaking in' work out this morning and now that the snow has finally naffed off and with the Xmas rush over, this means I can start again at the gym tomorrow with no distractions.

It makes me sound a bit of a ****** but I don't like losing what little shape I'd gained in recent months. :o
 
weighed myself about a month back and i was 14.5 stone. Weighed myself again yesterday and I'm down to 14 stone. Not really done too much differently so dunno whats happened there. Still need to lose some more weight though. An 11 mile sponsored walk to the next footy match on Sunday will sort things out though :D

Yep same for us apart from the pregnant bit. I have been in bed since xmas day and the mrs since boxing day. Worst xmas I've ever had and I've been looking forward to it since May.

House full of food and beer and I have been eating toast and drinking lucozade.
 
I stayed the same, I don't really tend to put much weight on although Christmas Day, Boxing Day and also the 27th of December I simply couldn't move due to the amount of food I'd eaten. I felt like a hippo. :o

For a lot of people it's not one day.

For example, as has always been for me.

Crimbo day - Christmas dinner
Boxing day - Christmas dinner
27th - buffet type meal
28th - buffet type meal

Then you've got general Christmas food that spans over a couple of weeks.
