Got my new ( to me ) car yesterday

What? He didn't even know the car had cruise and thinks TC is a luxury!

Ok fair enough on that one, but it did sound like he looked at plenty of cars, not just decided to get a bora regardless of how much it cost. Might be wrong though as he didn't really say.

I'd have bought a Toledo personally, same car but better looks and cheaper. The fact I sold my Toledo SE TDI wi 110k on it for 1500 quid does show how expensive this car is, especially as that was 4 years ago

I like the Bora's as well and I was hoping to get one when I was looking at getting a new car just over 6 months ago and they are relitevely cheap as well compared to Golf's etc but unfortunately their doesn't seem to be too many of them about at all (not that popular, or because they were only in production for 6 years?).

I went to view 2 of them, 1 of them was a complete shed and the other one was a 51 plate 1.9 TDi 130 with 88K on the clock, it drove lovely but the guy wanted too much for it and wouldn't budge, In the end I got a Focus instead.

The Focus I have got which is a 52 plate 1.6 Zetec has got Traction Control fitted as well and I never really understood why but on my Focus the TC is part of an optional extra called the "Reflex" pack which means besides TC, it also comes with rear disk brakes & side airbags etc.

The Bora's are good cars, I may still get one as my next car if I can find the right one - I hope you enjoy yours mate :)

Looks tidy, doesn't look like much tread on those tyres though...any chance of some interior pics?

Edit: paradigm thought exactly same as me but beat me to it :p

I was at least expecting a no expense spared high spec minter for £5k rather than a manual AC fitted car with tyres of a brand I can't distinguish :p
