well i picked her up from welyn last week, i bit of what i think

I chose a Ford Mondeo zetec 2.2d 155ps 6 speed, estate, in panther black at a cost of £12300 (dont flame me for the new car) the only only extra is a dog guard.

Not the most pleasing car on the eye, it sits to high the alloys look to small and has no stick on spoilers to help it go faster, however the good points, well what i like anyway, the engine is fantastic, it pulls up to 130mph no problem(i do actually live in Germany) it really is comfy I'm 6"2' tall about 18 stone so i find most cars a squeeze, the stereo is actually very good and have decided not to change it to a double din one.

i wish i went for the st model not even they do it in estate just for the looks other than that I'm happy with it.

i bit about the price, i got it cheep as I'm serving in Germany within the army and get great discounts, it was meant to have xenon lights but they messed up the order.

I've got an ST TDCi and I've been really pleased with it. The 2.2 engine is great and it's every bit as economical as the 2.0 TDCi Zetec I had previously.

IMO the ST extras are well worth the money - really sharpens the feel of the car up without sacrificing comfort.

Ford do an approved set of Eibach springs available through the dealers if you want to lower it. The 2.2 also responds very well to a remap and a panel filter.
