Got this seasonal flu virus thing

Everyone around me has been hit hard by the super man flu, and I just got a slightly dry throat. I am soooo ultra. But yes, it seems more rife than I remember it usually to be.

Probably jinxed myself there, but never mind.

I am exactly the same, same time frame and no xmas for me...my wife almost called an ambulance xmas day night when I began to vomit blood. I talked her out if it.

I ventured out for the time today and wished I hadn't, still not right.
 
Mine came on a few days ago. Sweats/shivers, temperature all over the place, sneezing, coughing, achey bones, headache, the works. Had the good manners to come on while I'm off work for five days as well :/
 
I recommend paying for a flu jab each year as it's really cheap these days (between £8 and £12) and although it cannot stop all strains of flu it covers the applicable ones each year.
 
I heard the mention of swine flu, I was hit hard over Xmas, not with the swine but full on flu, days later I blew my nose pop goes both ears, dizzy, ear infecttion and poriphirated ear drum.

Bunch of pussies. I am the only one who has had real flu, these are just colds by comparison.

I honestly thought I was going to die and would have considered doing it myself if I could move.

Lasted for about 4 days of hot cold, hot cold, throwing up and constant coughing. had to change my sheets just due to sweat never mind the sick stains after my bowl got full.

And now I am at work on my own as my colleage has flu, still have a cough but it's reet.
 
I had this flu like thing a few days before xmas, shivering violently, aching all over, sweating so much my bed was soaked, headache, dizziness :( Lasted 2 days then after that I was up and about. Nowhere near as bad as proper flu
 
I've had it since the 11th, only a mild flu but flu nonetheless, i think the flu part ended just before xmas and the chest infection has taken hold now, constantly coughing up crap and the cough keeps giving me the most irritating headaches! >_<
