It seems like my car (2002 VTR) has managed to eat its ARB droplinks in under 15000 miles, and now it clunks like hell over everything other than the smoothest of surfaces. :(

My 206 at the Head Gasket in 30k. It ate the exhaust in 15k. It also ate the droplinks about 25k.

Gotta love the Frenchness indeed

Are you sure it's droplinks that are clunking? saxos and 106s have a habbit of chewing all manner of suspension components.

Droplinks were only about 12 quid each when I bought them a few years ago.

Oh yes, mine has had various clunks and knocks, managed to get rid of all but one, which I cant find even though ive had pretty much the full car stripped.

Well I had the rest of the suspension checked they said all was well, I had similar clunking cured on the drivers side by the drop links being tightened however the passenger side is now clunking, but the links are tight.
