So, I get caught in the pouring rain on my way to work today. By the time I am in the studio, I am completely wet, including my feet.

Hm... 9am + wet feet + whole day of work ahead = cold. Being not very exited about catching a cold, I remember I have GTX480 in my work machine.

Take off the shoes, put them next to GTX480 exhaust, fire up FurMark and get nice dry shoes in an hour.

Thanks nVidia :D

Win!

Hah, I guarantee my old GX2 got hotter. The damn thing cooked 4 sticks of RAM before I realised what the problem was :( No wonder NVIDIA stopped making them pretty much immediately after release.
I can't even RMA it now, goddam BFG :(

Heh, i remember using my P4 Prescott as a radiator. Kept my room nice and toasty in the winter :o

Damn these newer, more efficient processors >_<

people dont know what a gtx480 is on theses parts of the forum mate.
I used to dry my damp clothing on the rad of my pc tho, run a benchmark and leave them to dry for about 1 hr! :D

You can contact PNY who will RMA it for you, they've taken on all BFG warranties.

Oh really? Interesting, I will look into it thank you. But to be honest I'd rather not have them fix it and send me back the same model... maybe they would send me something else instead.

My computer literally makes my room a chilly place to be in at night, gotta turn the fans right down else I'm close to shivering. I have to wear a blanket. :(

With my old computer I'd leave it on for a toasty warm feeling :P

Damn you Antec & your bazillion fans keeping my system cool. ;(
