Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition (£6.25 - Today only deal)

im not too concerned about the size of them tbh, just pretty naffed off about the hassle from d2d so far, not really impressed.
as mentioned above, the deal would have passed by the time we get a reply which is even worse.

anyone know if you can backup the game files from D2D like you can on steam?
 
Think I will wait until GFWL or Steam do the same offer its only a matter of time now ;) Both give a lot of bandwidth & minimal hassle in buying games for me do not need another DD provider.
 
im not liking this d2d at all now, i cant even edit my payment details...

ahh nvm, just found it in the checkout tab and not in 'my account', bit backwards!

How much was the SE? The one that came with a lock box and bag? Thats the one I bought. Might of cost more than £50 actually.

Steam has made me incredibly lazy when it comes to installing non steam games. Its just such a chore. Thats why if I can, I always buy on steam.. even paying a premium for games.

ive just had some success with it also, i should point out its not actualyl the complete pack, its gta4 and the episodes seperately which makes it slightly larger to download/install and i also think the complete pack lets you play all 3 parts of the game seamlessly - i could be corrected on that though!

you do get all the games but the 'complete' pack has all of them together in one huge file so you save space in the end, dont ask me how or why, ive just read that its smaller and you can play the episodes along side the gta4 game seamlessly. whether or not that just means you can choose which game to play at the splash screen i dont know though :p
 
Very good price... Was thinking about getting it for the single player but as it was £29.99 didn’t end up buying it. But at £6!! I have no excuse... But as I’ve never bought from direct2drive before, Are they a legit seller not like these dodgy sites that sell Russian keys?
 
D2D are legit, yes. I tried creating an account, found my email was already used, and discovered I'd bought something from them back in 2007 :o

Had no trouble buying my copy using paypal.

Need to buy a new hard drive tho :/ 160Gb isn't cutting it anymore, with games being close to 20gig each these days.
