Grangemouth Strike

Used to live in Falkirk, when that huge fuel shortage occurred a while back, we were lucky because my dad's a doctor and he was allowed to skip the queues. (Before anyone says he was taking advantage, he had to be able to jump into his car at short notice and drive ASAP, within like 2 mins of being bleeped, to any of the big hospitals in Edinburgh/Glasgow as well as Falkirk)

There were already panic buyers out today  Queues round the block. I just filled the bike up, if I only use it to go to work and back that'll last for a month :)

Noticed that today, though it doesn't help either that two of the local petrol stations in town have also closed as well. Ended up queuing at Morrisons for 10minutes for diesel.

It's only Scotland, not as if it makes any money for the pot.

gotcha

I take that tongue in cheek, epsecially now I can see your sly writing/edit. ;) :D

Grangemouth is pretty critical to the UK's petrol supply, although it will hit Scotland first. Providing many a penny to the treasury I may add. :) Only if it were prolonged would it start to his elsewhere.

Not sure which way this will go, wait and see really.

Just filled the punto, should last a month if i drive sensibly. Get the train to uni and work is sadly a mere 10 min walk!! Hoping that everyone runs out and I can be the only person on the road!! lol
