Hi, I have a 7800GT with the lastest drivers and i'm having a problem in Quake 4. Everything looks ok except for what appears as dithering or feathering around objects, the majority of which are transparencies (i.e holes in fences, walls, struts etc). It's far worse with AA on but still visible without. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? I dont have issues in FEAR, Oblivion, HL2:E1 or Prey. I've tried unticking "Transparancy AA" in the Nvidia advanced settings but that made no difference.

Thanks!

Any ideas? After testing it does actually seem to be only happening with AA (in game) on.

On a side note, does anyone know what the r_renderer setting should be for a 7800GT? I know Best should be selected but i'm not convinced it's working properly. Should i be using ARB2? Or maybe cg, nv20 or nv200?

Thanks.

9 series nvidia drivers have been sabotaged, best to stick with the latest 8 series drivers unless your running nothing but 2d stuff and purevideo crap.
