Just gone and orderd another monitor, so that makes two 19 inch widescreens

Not going to use them both for gaming, just video and photo editing etc - More space to work with

Would this put a strain on my 7300gt?

Cheers
Thorpy

dual screen doesnt put strain on a gfx card unless you game on both of them, e.g. a flight sim or sup com

hence why people who want lots of monitors often just put regular PCI graphics cards in, since it uses nothing at all on them

/me dribbles @ dual screen sup com with 8800's :D:D hehe

Nah it's fine, even in games when you just play on 1 screen, dualscreen gaming is a stress though.

I'd recommend an nvidia card with 2x vid output though, they have good dualvieuw support and it prevents driver incompability with lets say 1 pci generic card and 1 normall card...

I've found that if you leave a 2nd monitor enabled for irc/msn/email/movie etc... generally framerates take a hit. However for the most part; its not a problem.

Cheers for the replies :)

Gaming isnt my interest atm, some hardcore video editing is what i want ;)

Using dual 22" here, SupCom is great dual screen. A bit of a gimmick but it can be handy having the entire strategic map available at a glance.
