These will be a hard sell with the EVGA, Hale and Triathlor units all around the same/higher wattage and similar price range. I know some of the ones I linked are not modular, but if you've got so little to spend on a PSU (one of the most important components of your system!) then modular shouldn't really be included in your product decisions! :p

My money would go to the former 2 with that kind of low budget (have the 1kw Hale here and it's superb).

I doubt that Hale unit is ever coming back in stock, certainly not at that price. IIRC OcUK got some end of line stock in to be able to sell it at such a great price.

And the Enermax you liked is a completely different price point really at £60 for a 450W unit.

How these Xigmatek units compare with the EVGA 500B/600B I think is the main challenge, and then to a lesser extent the Corsair CX series.

These power supplies aren't even registered with the 80PLUS certification. Even hardtechx doesn't have them registered, so you can't check their OEM.

I certainly wouldn't buy one when the certification doesn't seem to exist. Without knowing the official OEM for these, you can't be sure if that has even been correctly certified.

You can get XFX Core Edition 550w for £40-£50 which have Seasonic as OEM, would get those at this price bracket

I'm a bit skeptical as well without any proper reviews, also surprised to see modular at this price but it's not a bad thing. Depending how good the inside is ;)
