Kinda obvious since Sinestro is the main baddie in GL anyway. Suppose in a few years we'll have a Justice League movie to look forward to. Le sigh.

I went into this expecting it to be totally crap. It wasn't but it wasn't brilliant either. Reynolds wasn't as annoying as I thought he'd be.

I didn't go see this because the reviews said it was bad, but I did however like the look of the trailer. I've just watched the extended cut blu-ray and I really don't see how it was as bad as the reviews say. Maybe the extended cut has helped improve it, I don't know as I haven't watched the theatrical cut, but I thought it did the job. It wasn't as good as Thor but I'd rate it the same with Iron Man 2. It wasn't poor and it wasn't amazing but it was fairly enjoyable - and this is someone who cannot stand the Spider-Man movies so I thought it did well to keep me watching.

Haven't seen Captain America yet.

Anyone else picked up the blu-ray and checked out the extended cut - thoughts?

Me too. My expectations were rock bottom, but I really didn't think it was that bad. Maybe a bit rushed at times but generally ok. It's a sign of how far superhero movies have come that GL seems to be considered as a 1-star abomination.

The beginning of the movie was the ebst imo, with the aliens getting their lives ripped from them by Parallax, and then it went down hill tbh
