Poor home form continues, it is what it is. Feel it wasn't really a pen, sure it was a foul, but the initial contact looked outside the box?

Oh well, if they could find their shooting boots sometime soon it'd be great.

Defenders just need to be more smart with VAR here to stay. So many penalties would have amounted to nothing if they just pushed the player out wide instead of trying to tackle in the box.

I think this was what Carragher or Neville were saying the other day. As a manager at the moment I would be telling players not to tackle in the box. THe problem is, players like Harry Kane would just go past you and leave a leg out to force contact and they get the penalty every time. There has to be some sort of threshold on contact for penalties because its getting ridiculous. VAR is literally looking at incidents and saying "was there contact". Not "was there enough contact" or "did he have control of the ball when there was contact", just "did he touch him at all". Its ridiculous when you see an attacker stick his boot out, get the ball first and then the defender catches him after the ball has flown out for a goal kick. Why on earth is that a penalty.
