Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 4th December 2025]

Disappointing that. Created plenty of chances just a bit short on quality. Desperate for a proper centre forward. I said it earlier in the thread but any team visiting St James has to just hold out for 25 - 30 minutes and then they have a great chance of getting something out of the game.

Spurs were utter turd, but for all our possession and pressure, we continue to struggle to score. It’s been an issue all season in the league.

We’ve now got the most points dropped from a wining position in the league (11) which would have us level on points with Arsenal (although they have a game in hand).

I can't stand Spurs under Frank. How can we be in A December with no sense of the kind of attack Frank is implementing? Or is it as simple as "get it to Kudus or get a corner"

Bergvall was the best player on the park.

I think Newcastle were robbed and deserved 3 poibts...that being said, how did Burns got a penalty for putting Bentacur in a headlock? The refs are just a bit dumb- the role is clearly beyond their capabilities.

So what you are trying to say is!!!!!

With a few tweaks we should be challenging for the league????

I take that!

I also might add. Pope probably saves 1 if not two of those goals.

Is Ruddy still at the club lol? How he with his feet

Disappointed with last nights result, but it is what it is, if someone offered 7 points out of City, Spurs and Everton, we would have snapped hands off, if we’re honest.

While I'd like to see those penalties get given every time and move away from corners being a wrestling bout, we all know we're going to see exactly the same happen multiple times tonight and not see a single pen called.

Also that might be the worst overhead kick goal I've seen. Every Toon player just ball watched and did naff all.

Id rather not see penalties given when its a clear 50/50. You simply cannot be giving game changing decisions like that.

Ramsdale really has taken a fall after leaving Arsenal. He had a great season with Arsenal but obviously they were seeing something that was concerning with him in training, wish him all the best and hope he finds his form again. Shame.

The excitement of searching for a 95th min bicycle kick equaliser, from a centre back did not deliver. I see better efforts on a Sunday from my lads u11 team saved!

Was like watching an Onana dive all over again

Big game tonight between Brighton and Villa. Sitting 5th and 4th (how the **** did Villa end up there? Thought they forgot how to score!), a big 6 pointer!

Good luck @el_dazza - doubt I’ll be watching live as a 2:30am kick off for me.

I think Watkins (1 in 19?) has but the rest of the team is OK.

Not the best team today. 3 starters out of the back 4. 3 starters out of the front 3. This is a must win so really hoping this is not just rotation. So irritating to see Merino starting when we have 2 strikers on the bench.

Good opportunity for Tzimas, and Gruda to find form again after injury.

Missing Ayari in midfield, alongside Baleba forgetting how to play is a worry. Dunk making his 500th appearance though, and a good home form. Let’s get the 3 points :)

I'll take any sort of win tonight. That's a very rusty-looking, makeshift team.

Liverpool: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Gakpo, Robertson, Gravenberch.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Endo, Kerkez, Salah, Chiesa, Jones, Ekitike, Nyoni, Ngumoha

Salah still dropped. would have liked Hugo up top myself over Isak
