After most of last season, as an Arsenal fan we should be used to this. Still, 3rd game in 6 days and we still had them on the back foot for periods, scored a couple, still top - could be worse.
 
This is going to leave us needing a result against Chelsea - not an ideal position to be in.

I think we need another big name signing in the January window - to be perfectly honest I'd test Liverpools resolve with a £60m bid for Saurez.

Exactly what i was thinking, we need a striker who's really going to attack, atm arsenal try and work the ball into the net, if you look at man city, no matter what position they are, when the chance comes, they shoot, exactly what arsenal need to be like.

I think Dzeko would be an excellent signing for you to be honest, and much more realistic.

We need somebody of the Aguero / Saurez mold if we are going to look to really challenge. Somebody that can pick the ball up 30 yards out and create from nothing - I don't see that being Dzeko.

Don't get me wrong, I think Saurez is a pie in the sky hope - I just cant think of anybody else that is potentially unsettled and available.

You do know Giroud scored because the two defenders directly between him and the goal, stopped playing before he even turned let alone shot? The chance Giroud was going to score from there without two defenders and the keeper giving up were 0.03%.

Another offside though Walcott was offside, he got 5 yards clear of the defender.... and his cross got blocked and I think went for a throw in had it not been called offside, so nothing there either.

WE've been gifted one goal where their keeper decided to just not move for no reason, after Yaya made a huge mistake. We've gifted them goals, but this game was WAY closer to being 6-2 than being 4-4. They've completely outplayed us for the majority of the game. Giroud hasn't been close to good enough upfront, infact he was very very poor. Walcott had one great finish, one lucky one, and did very very little else. Ozil has barely been awake, Wilshere looks too tired, Ramsey hasn't done much and defensively we've been woeful.
 
Well we just got embarrassed at the Etihad. Really well played from city an we still have an inability to step up to the big games on a consistent basis. Deserved nothing and got nothing unfortunately.
