Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [14 - 15th December 2013]

To be fair we mostly new it was City/Chelski for the title. At least Arsenal made a game of it. If Arsenal keep beating the littler teams and Citeh and Chelski stay horribly inconsistent they are still in with a shout.

Really need a too draw striker though.

This, although I think it's clearly City's to lose - Jose's unbeaten home record looks precarious this time round and I'm convinced somebody is going to end it this season. What I want from us is a strong, solid top 2-3 finish, automatic CL qualification and to be in a position where we can attract another couple of good signings in the summer, rather than the usual scraping 4th place deal.

Inb4hyperbole about season imploding.

Seeing the league table and the game itself (rather than just the result) makes it more digestible, it's not like we were chasing shadows for 90mins, they just were more clinical with their chances, took advantage of our mistakes and have better players, plus we gambled with going for broke rather than damage limitation... don't think the team will crumble. Boring rest of the day now. :(

Wow, some Arsenal fans are throwing in the title race now...before xmas.
Arsenal still lead the table.
They are immensely talented.
Have won many games.
Come on Arsenal fans - dont give up on your team, who are currently leading the table.

If I were a betting man, Chelsea would be my faves for the title, if only because they have the best manager in the World managing them. Arsenal would be my 2nd faves to win the title, as they have a good set of players who are playing well together. Man City 3rd.
