Remember who won the title last season.....
Made it a lot more difficult after that dross, but Utd can still make top four with ease even if only one decent cm is bought ( more would help, but not essential until the summer)

United weren't that bad but we clearly need a mf or we play without mf and just attack.
Adding a decent CM isn't the only requirement Man.U. need to qualify with ease for the CL, obviously.
They also need 3 of the better teams above them to become far worse than they are now, who do you think those 3 will be?

I think it's important they do it now before we actually run the risk of missing out on the top 4, though I think we can still make it if we get RvP fit and firing - even with no signings. That's very risky though.
Cleverley just does a whole lot of nothing in every single game. It's depressing.

Dire performance from Utd. Fair play to spurs, they took their chances and defended brilliantly. Moyes is clown, utter joke his substitutions.

It's West Ham, or I should say Alladyce FC, his teams will 5 times a season just beat someone, fairly easily, through usually kicking the **** out of the other team but the ref having a poor game. I can't remember if I saw anything of the West Ham/Spurs cup game at all.
I can't imagine Spurs being consistent over the longer term. Think players free of a manager they hate relief/spirit/short term belief that becomes a longer term less consistent form. They need to adjust back to being an attacking team after what almost 18 months of training to be... well, ****. LIkewise Adebayor's injury almost felt inevitable. Spurs and Sherwood needed results, I thought he'd probably give Adebayor a bit of a easier time in terms of minutes played going from not part of even training under AVB to playing a heck of a lot in a very short space of time.
But Soldado, Eriksen, lennon and probably Lamela will pick up form. Soldado played consistently but with zero support upfront at all. The others have been played infrequently, in stupid formations, asked to do stupid things on the pitch like stay as far away from Soldado as humanly possible
I think top 4 is a bit of a big ask unless Lamela and Eriksen come really good as frankly there are too many good teams this year.

Sounds strange saying considering his results but I still don't think Tim has done anything special. Made some strange decisions. I'm not sure of he's been lucky or what, too soon to tell.
AVB's style and management was so poor anyone would have been an upgrade, he was spectacularly ****. I know I keep going on about him in my posts but towards the end I had real, genuine dislike for the fella.
I hope you made it as that was (another) good performance by all accounts, Wolves dropping points was handy too
I hear you'll be strengthening with 3 players in the window including a CB & a young striker from Arsenal who's had a few 1st team starts, onwards & upwards
