I think Gomez needs to be stronger there. It was barely a poke.

VAR done something right for once by not overruling the referee on a subjective decision.

I don’t understand how that hasn’t been disallowed he uses more than reasonable force to push Gomez

    Its a foul.

You see worse at every corner, it would have been soft to give it.

Lol, ‘you see worse at the part of the game where the rules are enforced differently due to the grouped up nature of the play’

    Daft comparison

We’re in disagreement about it on here, that shows it’s a subjective decision and not a clear and obvious error, therefore, allowing the refs decision to stand is the correct use of VAR.

It was a blatant push, ergo a foul.

People disagree on the geometry of the Earth, doesn’t make it subjective.

The reason why clubs like younger players to bulk up is they can be easily pushed off the ball, strength is a key attribute in football. It's not like he used both arms to push him like players do at every corner.

Even Walton can’t hide from how bad the decision was lol

Milner is slow, Trent is average defensively and Fabinho once again coming back from an injury looks miles off compared to the usual protection

If youre running and someone pushes you in the back it doesnt take alot of force. Its not even debateable...ita a clear foul.

A lot of the pushing and shoving on corners is done before the ball is played, however continue to push and shove when the corner is taken then expect a goal to be disallowed or a penalty given!

Earth is a physical object whereas what constitutes a foul is largely subjective, the rules may say a push is a foul but again you see dozens of pushes at every corner and referees don't punish them.
