Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [Sunday 13th May 2012]

If Man City don't win the title from here I'll eat my hat, which is twice as bad as it sounds as I'd have to go and actually buy one first.

I'll do some straw clutching and say QPR to get the point they need to stay up.

Also, RVP needs two goals to become the highest scorer in a 38 game season since the Premier League's inception in 1992, one goal will see him equal Shearer and Ronaldo on 31.

No idea which game to watch!! As usual I'll probably flip flop between the lot and miss all the good action lol :(

Sky go player on iPad/pc. Soon as a goal is scored Sky will do the split screen thing and show you the goal. Im watching man city because if they do the business nothing else matters :)

Last game of the season. No pressure. Do our business and just hope Fulham or West Brom get something.

It's been a fantastic season regardless. Europe baby!

I'm going for

City 6-2 QPR
Sunderland 2-2 Man Utd
West Brom 1-4 Arsenal
Spurs 2-2 Fulham
Everton 0-1 Newcastle
Norwich 1-3 Villa
Stoke 2-4 Bolton

I'll say

City 3-2 QPR
Man Utd Reserves 1-3 Man Utd
West Brom 2-4 Arsenal
Spurs 2-2 Fulham
Everton 1-2 Newcastle
Norwich 3-0 Villa
Stoke 2-1 Bolton

I think mr stat is right. It's very similar to a couple of seasons ago when United needed Chelsea to drop points at Wigan. Chelsea went out and won I think 7/8-0? Predicting a fairly similar score for City/QPR. So great though that there's still so much up for grabs on the last day of the season.

Was it the 92-93 season where we, Stoke, were beaten on the final day of the season by Bolton? We were champions, but that result promoted Bolton alongside us but kept Port Vale down. Surely we won't be beaten by Bolton to relegate QPR.

In all seriousness though -

Man City 7-2 QPR
Sunderland 2-1 Man Utd
WBA 2-2 Arsenal
Spurs 2-0 Fulham
Everton 2-3 Newcastle
Norwich 1-1 Villa
Chelsea 4-0 Blackburn
Stoke 3-1 Bolton
Swansea 2-1 Liverpool
Wigan 3-0 Wolves

Smalling, Evans and Welbeck ruled out for our game with Sunderland which means the dreaded Ferdinand/Jones partnership at the back...... City might well end up taking this title on points after all :(

No Welbeck?!!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

fiver on city-qpr to be 0-0, stevenage-sheff united to be 1-2 and united to win 3-0 returns 20k!!!!

Thats not beyond the realms is it ?

RVP to bag a hattrick...fingers crossed:p

Yeah it will be nice for him to sign off in style before buggering off to spain for pittance because he has a year left on his contract :p

Im going for the QPR epic draw to stay up and deny Man City of a title.

Yeah I will go with that too, I have a feeling City are going to blow it :(
It would be funny if both teams lost though. I wonder what odds you could get on that.
