Greetings from a weekend with Monsieur MatBlack

Matblack & Wild Lotus has kindly invited me and a few of us round (Piggy, Desmo, Haly, and my Roz) for a weekend of debauchery as well as celebrating Desmo's 30th birthday! Followed by a trip to Hastings today for mini/crazy golf, the beach, pub, fish and chips and trip to Casualty...

Herein follows the tale of our weekend...

Disaster strikes and in the heat of the moment and excitement Piggy needs to be taken to hospital having stepped off a 3" kerb (it's quite a drop for her

).

She's even got her own wheelchair and porter!

Within an hour she had already injured herself again - in the disabled toilet by pulling the handrail onto her head (we think she and Desmo were at it though...)

3hrs pass and the boys are getting restless - the toys are calling!!

MatBlack impresses us with the hippo rendition of Beethoven.

So all in all a very exciting weekend! The first OcUK meet to culminate in A&E... it was actually surprisingly fun somehow.

To top it all off it's not over yet, and we still have tomorrow to come - bets on who will be injured next?

Desmo won the minigolf quite convincingly - but I was a close second (by a few hundred).

OcUK meets rock, even in hospitals! Once again MatBlack's generosity and welcoming nature is fantastic.

Sounds like your having a great weekend. Turning a hospital visit into fun too is testimony to how entertaining you lot are.

Incidently Matt says the chair was already broken....

Piggy's OK, though feeling a little rough and fragile. She also managed to fall up the stairs just this very minute on her crutches. Poor girl.
