Greetings from New York City!

I feel a bit stupid for not bringing the card reader, so I don't think I'm going to be able to get any pics off the camera until I get back :(

Also whats the weather like?

Oh Hot and Sunny :D

Do I need to take winter wear?
Weeeellllllll... apparently it has been quite cold here. And it rains a lot, but regularly every day, so bring wet weather gear as well. I'll keep a tab on what the weather does.

Edit: I flew with American Airlines. They were a bit crap and their staff not very bright, but friendly nonetheless. Virgin were better from what I remember, but it's been a few years since I last came to America.

Amazing. Would love to get out at some point.

Long flight?

What's New York feel like? I'm always interested in the feel of places.
7 hours and a bit. I thought New York was shorter than that but, meh.

Yeah, so it 'feels' just like London and if you don't look up too far the buildings don't look too disimilar. Smells the same. Traffic is a lot more tame than I was expecting, but lots of honking. Young guys riding fixies trying to stay balanced at the lights, people walking everywhere. There are so many Americans in London and you rarely hear English being spoken anyway, so it doesn't really sound any different either. The people here are more friendly though, so far :D

It's nothing like the rest of America by the look of it :p

I thought I'd probably miss it but I ended up walking up Broadway after I'd been around the Statue of Liberty and they were filming up there. At that point I got Holywood fever and went round and found the Ghostbusters fire station :D

Had drinks in the Empire hotel bar last night after some nice food at a place called Hudsons. When we got in I'd been awake for 25 hours, no wonder my brain wasn't working :D

Von - dude, I left my Batman outfit at home. Would be funny in a Captain Chaos outfit though. Tan-tan-taaaaaa!
