I'm currently recovering from a groin strain combined with hip abductor tears and lower abdominal pains (long story)......

However, prior to any of this i booked up to go to Austria in February, i may not be fully fit in time the way it's going, but what do you think would be the least intensive out of skiing and snowboarding? I can ski fairly well, but i've never done snowboarding before. I'm thinking purely about how it will affect my injury, and not the most gruelling in general.

I know the correct answer is neither but i'm not thinking that way at the moment. Thoughts?

Not after medical advice, as i'm currently going through a rehibilitation program, just want to know which activity will hurt me most :)

If you could already snowboard then I'd have thought that offered less potential to hurt you further but given you'd have to learn it which generally involves falling down a lot and putting stresses on the body in ways you're not used to then I think neither is the only sensible option.

I am going snowboarding on saturday for some lessons but from what i can imagin is that snowboarding would proberly do less damage as your feet are on one bit rather than 2 so if you fall your not going to end up doing the splits
