Grrrrrrr HDNL

HDNL are totally crap.

That said my DPD order from OCUK should have been here today, despite ordering on Tuesday, so i think they're pretty naff. Ah well, whats a days holiday eh?! :(
 
HDNL are utterly terrible. I understand that there may be a backlog due to the bad weather, however I was shipped something 15 days ago via HDNL and it's yet to arrive. The tracking website says the package has a 48 hour SLA, ha!

Delivery hasn't even been attempted. I tried calling a few times during the week and it was always engaged. Eventually I found the number for the depot online (at least they answer!) and they were still unable to give a delivery date. There hasn't been any snow here for over a week now. Useless.

Same for me ordered an emergency replacement PSU on Monday from OCUK, took 2 days to get to Nottingham where it sat for a day.

Next day deliveries shouldn't take 3 days, they should withdraw the service if they cannot deliver upon it.

Wasted 2 days holiday from work waiting for the PSU.

when you say "they" you really mean the 1 delivery driver that dropped off your package, I'm sure its not their official policy...
 
They showed up at 7:45 this morning while I was in the shower. Que the driver ringing the house phone and honking the horn outside for 5 minutes solid.

Not amused.

To be honest I'd rather that happen than have them just drive off and not see my package for another few days. :p

Normally, that would have been perfect but they gave a delivery window of 9-11am, so it was completely unexpected.

Not to mention he was honking the horn which always annoys me :p
 
Had my own experience of them yesterday... I had to work but there was several (reliable) people at my house who knew I was expecting a delivery. When I came home from work I noticed the recycling bin in the porch had been moved a bit on investigating found a package tucked down behind it, no note or anything, everyone inside was sure no one had knocked or rung the door bell, quite bizarre and if I hadn't been slightly OCD about the bin being out of alignment my parcel could have easily ended up thrown out with the rubbish.
 
Utterly terrible company to deal with.

Ordered some stuff off the Zon on the 26th of December - specified first class postage - with an expected delivery of the 30th of December.

Still hadn't got it on Monday (3rd Jan) - so checked Zon and noticed my First Class postage was handed to HNDL - so phoned them - only to be told they closed for 3 days for New Year and it was still at their sorting office in Droitwich.

Phoned Zon to moan and was told I wouldn't get it until the 4th at the earliest.

Yesterday arrives (4th) and the status on their Website now says "Delivered" at 1pm - even though I haven't got it - or seen any driver.

Phone HDNL to complain - who say they need to interview Driver, and will update the sender on it's status so they can send another package..... then low and behold, at 5pm yestderday the package arrives - 9 DAYS LATER :rolleyes:

Does anyone know a number for HDNL that isn't computerised as i rearranged for my parcel

to be delivered yesterday but they still haven't came yet??
 
I've asked amazon to start using someone else because of my bad experiences with HDNL in the past.
All of my parcels from ocuk look like a baby could have been sent in them. With HDNL the baby definitely wouldn't have made it.

Edit: don't send me a baby please
